ControlLogix Control System - Allen Bradley

ControlLogix systems use a common control engine with a common development environment to provide high performance in an easy-to-use environment. Tight integration between the programming software, controller, and I/O modules reduces development time and cost at commissioning and during normal operation. You can perform standard and safety control in the same chassis for a truly integrated system. Leverage the high-availability and extreme environment capabilities to meet your application needs.

  1756 ControlLogix Extreme Environment Controllers

Bulletin 1756 ControlLogix-XT™ Extreme Environment Controllers function in the same way and offer the same features as the ControlLogix Standard Controllers. The XT controllers leverage the Rockwell Automation® Integrated Architecture™ control engine with enhancements to meet the needs of extreme environment applications, including conformal coating that extends product life in harsh, corrosive environments. In addition, an XT control system spaces modules in every other slot for thermal cushion and offers redesigned ventilation for increased air flow.

  1756 ControlLogix I/O

Bulletin 1756 ControlLogix® I/O modules provide a full range of digital, diagnostic digital, analog, motion control, and specialty I/O to meet your application needs. You can use any of the I/O modules in the local chassis of a ControlLogix controller or in a chassis linked to a ControlLogix controller across ControlNet™ or EtherNet/IP™ networks.

  1756 ControlLogix Standard Controllers

Bulletin 1756 ControlLogix® Standard Controllers are suitable for process, motion, discrete, and high-availability applications. As part of the Rockwell Automation® Integrated Architecture™ system, these controllers use RSLogix™ 5000 programming software (L6 models), the Studio 5000™ environment (L7 models), and common network protocols. They offer common information capabilities. These high-performance controllers provide a common control engine with a common development environment for all control disciplines. Consider these controllers for more sophisticated machines and for connectivity to business systems.

  1756 GuardLogix Safety Controllers

Bulletin 1756 GuardLogix® Safety Controllers have a two-processor architecture (1oo2) and are suitable for SIL 3 PLe applications. As part of the Rockwell Automation® Integrated Architecture™ system, these controllers use RSLogix™ 5000 programming software (L6 models) and the Studio 5000™ environment (L7 models). They offer common information capabilities and support CIP Safety over EtherNet/IP™ and ControlNet™ networks. These high-performance controllers provide a common control engine with a common development environment for all control disciplines. Consider these controllers for more sophisticated machines and for connectivity to business systems.
